He played for the Boston Celtics for his entire 13-year career, from 1956 to 1969. During his tenure with the Celtics, Russell won an unprecedented 11 NBA championships, an all-time record in the NBA. He was also a five-time MVP, and a 12-time All-Star. He was known for his rebounding, defense, and his ability to make his teammates better.

5) WILT CHAMBERLAIN (CENTRE)

He was known for his scoring, rebounding, and size, standing at 7 feet 1 inch tall. Chamberlain played for the Warriors from 1959 to 1965, and in his first season with the team, he set the rookie scoring record with 37.6 points per game. He also set the single-game scoring record by scoring 100 points in a game in 1962. In 1965, Chamberlain was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers, where he played for six seasons. Robertson played for the Cincinnati Royals and Milwaukee Bucks during his 14-year career, from 1960 to 1974. During his career, Robertson was a 12-time All-Star, a nine-time member of the All-NBA First Team, and a one-time MVP. He was known for his versatility and all-around game, and he was one of the first players to regularly record triple-doubles (double figures in points, rebounds, and assists in a single game). Julius “Dr. J” Erving played for the American Basketball Association (ABA) from 1971 to 1976 and the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1976 to 1987. Erving joined the Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA, where he played for 11 seasons. With the 76ers, he won the NBA championship in 1983, and was named the Finals MVP.
